2023 Jilin University (hereinafter referred to as “JLU”) “Dingxin Scholars” Support Program is launched to recruit outstanding young scholars from home and abroad so as to nurture their huge development potential, strong self-motivation and vigorous innovation by supporting their academic exploration and innovative research at Jilin University. Salary

薪酬不少于30万元/年（税前），按月发放，发放两年。此外，享受国家规定的社会保险及住房公积金；可租住精装修博士后公寓；享受采暖补贴、健康体检；享受教职工子女入学、入托政策；可申请高水平国际学术会议资助；期满出站可以按照人才引进方式申请学校相应岗位。

The salary shall be no less than 300,000 RMB/year (pre-tax) and paid monthly for two years. In addition to social insurance and housing provident fund stipulated by the State, Dingxin Scholars are entitled to tenantable well-decorated apartments, subsidies for heating during winter, and health examinations provided by JLU. They enjoy the preferential policy for their dependent children to attend kindergarten, primary and secondary schools affiliated with JLU. They can also apply for funds and allowances for attending top-level international conferences. Those who are excellent in the assessment at the end of the term will be given priority to apply for corresponding positions in the university through talent introduction.

Declared conditions

申请人除应具备坚定的政治立场、身心健康，恪守高校科研工作人员职业道德规范等基本条件外，还应具备以下条件：

（一）年龄35周岁及以下。

（二）获博士学位一般不超过3年，应届博士毕业生优先。

（三）具备较强的科研能力和创新精神，已取得一定影响力的研究成果。

（四）已初步选定科研团队或课题组，研究方向处于科技前沿、符合国家战略需求。

Applicants shall have a correct political stance, good physical and mental health, and professional and moral ethics of scientific researchers at universities. Moreover, they shall also have qualifications as follows:

1. Under 35 years old.
2. Generally, having obtained a doctoral degree within the last three years. Fresh PhD graduates are preferred.
3. Strong research ability and high innovation spirit, and having achieved research outcomes with certain influence.
4. Having primarily selected the research team/group. The research is on frontier technology and meets the strategic need of the State.

申报渠道

“鼎新学者”支持计划申报有“常规渠道”和“独立渠道”两种方式。

1.常规渠道

全年申报，定期评审。视申报情况多次评审，国内高校博士学位授予时间全覆盖。（2023年第二批次报名截止时间：2023年9月10日，中层单位考核推荐时间：2023年9月11日-9月18日，学校组织评审时间自2023年9月19日起。）

2.独立渠道

为进一步吸引有潜力的海外博士或校外博士，两院院士、哲学社会科学资深教授、承担国家千万级以上大项目负责人、国家社科基金重大项目首席专家、哲学社会科学到账经费300万元以上的部委级以上纵向项目负责人等，可结合科研项目需求等实际情况向学校申请招募“鼎新学者”并单独评审，即时申报，即时评审。

There are two ways to apply for the support program of “Dingxin Scholars”: “regular channel” and “independent channel”.

1. Regular channel

The regular channel is open throughout the year with regular review, covering the time points of doctoral degree conferring at all domestic universities. The review will be held many times depending on the application situation. (The deadline for the second batch of registration in 2023 is September 10, 2023, and the recommended time for middle level unit assessment is September 11 to September 18, 2023. The school will organize evaluation from September 19, 2023.)

2. Independent channel

In order to attract more promising doctors overseas or outside JLU, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, senior professors of philosophy and social sciences, leaders of national projects funded by RMB 10 million or more, chief experts of major projects funded by the National Social Science Fund, leaders of vertical projects in philosophy and social sciences above the ministerial level who gain over RMB 3 million funds, etc. can apply to JLU for recruitment of “Dingxin Scholars” based on the reality such as the demand of scientific research. They can file the application at any time, which will be separately reviewed soon.

申报及评审

准备以下材料，按提示要求填写相关申报信息、上传相关证明材料。所需材料如下：

1.身份材料。已获得博士学位的申请人须上传博士学位证、毕业证扫描件；应届博士毕业生须上传学生证及所在学院出具的满足博士毕业要求的证明扫描件。

2.学术及科研成果材料

(1)博士毕业论文全文扫描件，要求上传送审版本，论文中不得出现申请人姓名、导师姓名、单位名称等暴露个人信息的相关内容。

(2)代表申请人最高学术水平和科研成果的论文、专著、专利或奖励等，可以从以上类型材料中任选，但总数不超过3个。其中:论文提供全文，专著提供封面、目录和摘要，专利或奖励提供证书扫描件。

3.推荐信2封。包括博士导师推荐信及同行专家推荐信。

申报截止后，学校组织校内外专家进行评审，评审主要考查学术水平、科研能力、发展潜力，拟开展研究内容的创新性及对所属学科领域的推动作用等。

Applicants shall prepare the following materials, fill in the relevant information and upload the relevant proof as required. The necessary materials include:

1. Identity materials. Applicants who have obtained a doctoral degree are required to upload the scanned copy of the doctoral degree certificate and graduation certificate; Fresh PhD graduates are required to upload the scanned copy of their student ID card and the document issued by their college to certify their eligibility to complete the doctoral study.
2. Academic and scientific research results materials

(1) It is required to upload the scanned copy of the full doctoral thesis that has been submitted for review. The name of the applicant, the name of the supervisor, the name of the institution and other relevant personal information shall not appear in the thesis.

(2) Any papers, monographs, patents or awards representing the applicant’s highest academic level and scientific research achievements, with the total number no more than 3. To be specific: the full text of the paper, the cover, catalog and abstract of the monograph, and the scanned copy of the certificate for the patent or award.

3. Two letters of recommendation, including recommendation letters from doctoral supervisors and peer experts.

Upon the completion of the application, JLU will organize experts inside and outside the university to conduct review which mainly examines the academic level, scientific research ability, development potential, innovation of the proposed research and promoting effect on the discipline or field.
